Bob Maddux has been in full time ministry since 1968. In the past he has served as University Campus Pastor, Youth Pastor, Evangelist and Bible College President. In 1988 he pioneered Christian Life Assembly in Poway California, a suburb of San Diego, where he still pastors today. Besides his pastoral work, he has ministered on five continents, training national pastors and doing evangelistic outreaches.
In 1976 he founded Capital Bible College presently located in Sacramento, California and served as its president for nine years. In 1979 he founded and directed “Jesus West Coast”, a large, annual 3-day missions festival attended by thousands and credited with recruiting many into missions. He has authored several books including the Angel award-winning, Fantasy Explosion. He has also produced and or directed various films and documentaries. In 1992 he co-founded Project Compassion, a medical relief ministry that has touched thousands of lives on five different continents.
Besides his pastoral work, he is director of Ezekiel12 productions, a
ministry that is currently in production on various media projects.
He and his wife, Claudia, have been married for 34 years. Claudia is an accomplished worship leader, and serves on staff at CLA as Minister of Music, Worship & Missions. She also travels extensively doing photography & music ministry for missions organizations. They have 3 children.
